Coastal Seas

Kia ora bloggers, yesterday my Class watch a video of Our Planet about Sea Creatures, Oceans and the Planet. The director of the show is David Attenborough, he is an inspiring person to watch because he explains what actually happens in the Ocean. I learnt lots about the White Tipped Reef Shark and what it does, Here some facts my group & I found about the White Tipped Reef Sharks.

Facts: The White Tipped Shark are 1 of 440 species in the world. They have relentlessly kept being caught and their population reduced by 90 percent. They also let little fish called wrasse clean their teeth by plucking off the gunk.  These sharks prefer to hunt in the dark rather than the day.

We also found some facts about the Wrasse and what it does in the Ocean. Here are some facts:Wrasse are a very small fish that clean the sharks teeth. Wrasse are practically their pet; they follow the shark nearly everywhere they go. If they have the feeling that there teeth need to be cleaned they would just open their mouth and the wrasse will clean the sharks mouth. Have you ever watch David Attenborough? Heres my DLO
