Warning Tsunami

Kia ora bloggers. Last Friday was very horrific for me because there was some tsunami warnings.  On Friday I was late to school but when my dad dropped me off at the office I saw Mrs Lindsay.  Mrs Lindsay looked very scared, but I was very happy I saw her because I didn’t hear about the tsunami. Mrs lindsay told me to tell my dad that we needed to go home and get everyone.  Once we were on the hill  at Te Haumi we started to call family members to see if they were safe.  I was terrified because this was my first ever time being told that a tsunami was coming.

How was your Tsunami Evacuation?

Ultra T-Ball

Kia ora bloggers, yesterday Whaea Keasy came back to play T-Ball with us. Whaea Keasy is really talented at T-ball and Softball. My team did really well because we got the most points and played very fairly. The hardest thing for me was hitting the ball out of the air because the pitcher throws the ball into the air and we have to hit the ball. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog post and have you play T-Ball or SoftBall?

Ultra T-Ball

Kia ora Bloggers, Yesterday we played some more T-Ball with Whaea Kasey. I enjoyed playing T-Ball because we all had fun and played fair. My group started off as the fielders and it was really fun because I was the back stopper. The back stopper has to catch the ball and place it down on the mat when someone tries to make a homerun. It was really easy to get some of the batters out. I hope you enjoyed this blog post! Blog you later!

Awesome Te Reo Maori

Kia ora bloggers. A few days ago my group started to make an animation for a Te reo Maori weather forecast. We started to make the script in week 2 term 4. The easiest part was to make the script because we got help from our teacher Whaea Chrissy. The hardest part was to learn how to say the Maori words because it’s hard for me to say some words. Here is a link to the Te Reo weather forecast. I hope you enjoy this blog post. Blog you later!

Have you ever made a Te Reo weather forecast?

Ultra Athletics

Kia ora bloggers, last week my school started to practice for athletics day. I liked the first couple of days because I did sprints and relays. I think the hardest part for me was versing the fastest people in my group. I was one of the fastest people in my group, but I thought I was going to be very slow but I wasn’t. Athletics is very fun because you can do different events, like high jump, long jump and shot put.

Do you like Athletics?

AWESOME FISHING DAY!

Kia ora bloggers, in the holidays my dad and I went fishing. We went to go fish at the Waitangi Golf Course, we caught a 14 pound kingy. It was really hard to pull in, but my dad tried his hardest because we hadn’t caught a fish at all that day. My dad said it was a shark because how it was fighting, plus the kingy was really big. Once my dad pulled the kingfish in he told me to get a knife and stab it so we could have it for dinner.

Have you ever caught a 14 pound kingy?
